QUALITY MATERIALS
Fabric - The main tubes of all Star fishing boats are constructed of either 1100 or 2200 denier PVC fabric that is extremely tough and very difficult to puncture or tear. This same material is used for our large commercial whitewater rafts. The tightly woven polyester base fabric, precisely formulated polymer coating, and specialized STS pressure bonding process, combine to insure the strongest, most airtight material available.
Valves - Maintenance-free low profile Leafield valves are tough and durable and are used almost exclusively on Star fishing boats. The one exception is the 10' E-Z Fish on which the universal Halkey Roberts valves are used.
Floor - The floor on all the fishing boats is Star's trademark 1.8mm, 4000 denier material, which is the strongest you will find on any inflatable. This super tough floor is tightly stretched and can support a person standing or a loaded cooler without any problem.
